The Delight of Etsy 16 April 2007

Filed under: Art and Craft, Design — bobble @ 4:36 pm

Etsy is addictive. It’s crack for crafters, it should be made illegal. There is such a wide variety of things on there: paintings, paper goods, prints, bags, purses, jewellery, clothes, toys, photographs… I almost click with dread when I go on Etsy, I just know I’ll end up buying something cute.

Well, I have bought a few things for me and the flat recently and wanted to recommend the lovely sellers who’ve brightened my day and my home.

Damn you! As if I didn’t have enough of an internet shopping addiction.

I’ve already bought two canvases from Modern Art Everyday (ostensibly as presents, but I wouldn’t be surprised if one or both end up on my walls), and I’m lusting after a couple of prints from Alicia Bock Photography.

My poor Maestro card doesn’t know what’s hit it.

Gotcha! I should be getting a commission… you are the second person who has bought stuff on my favourite sellers list ;)

I got paid today and, oops, another three prints were bought. But really, good art at $15-$30 a pop? How can you not (that’s my excuse and I am sticking to it.) I feel good about supporting artists and my walls look fabulous.
